Maingate’s customer Eka Chemicals has in international competition been awarded with the GE Fanucs Innovation Price and the magazine Management Automation’s award Progressive Manufacturer of the Year.
What mainly contributed to Eka’s success is the company’s own developed system for industrial IT called EPI, Eka Process Information. EPI enables remote monitoring of Eka installations in their customers paper mills or pulp factories around the world.
A vital part of EPI is Maingate’s services for wireless communication, M2M.
